General Introduction ------------ At Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, we believe in the inherent, God-given dignity of all people. We pledge our time and talents to the needs of others. And we work tirelessly for the common good in every community we serve. Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center includes three hospitals in a 35 mile radius of South Bend, in the northern part of Indiana. We are part of Trinity Health, the fourth largest Catholic Health Care system in the United States. In addition to three hospitals and a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center, we have a physician network of sixty physicians and over 200 employees that covers two counties. A new state-of-the-art $355 million facility will be completed in 2009 in Mishawaka/South Bend. Continuing Education -------------- There are 12 colleges and universities in our area, including the University of Notre Dame. All employed physicians received a CME allowance and time away for CME. Benefits --------- The hospital-employed positions include a full benefit package including malpractice, relocation time away for vacation and additional time away for CME, a CME allowance and many other benefits.
