Arkansas Methodist Medical Center (AMMC) continues to grow to meet patient and physician needs through renovations, additions, and the constant improvement of healthcare technology to build for our future. With the addition of new physicians comes the opportunity to expand the line of services we offer our patients at AMMC. The total number of people AMMC served during FY2015 is 114,996. AMMC is one of the largest employers in Paragould serving over 600 employees, over 35 active staff, and 7 employed physicians. Arkansas Methodist Hospital Corporation is in partnership with area healthcare providers and has recently expanded our services and patient access with a newly constructed Paragould Medical Park (PMP). The Medical Park also houses another partnership, Paragould Wound Healing Center. The Arkansas Methodist Corporation's Chateau on the Ridge Assisted Living facility constructed in 2011 continues to grow in popularity and is now at full occupancy with a waiting list for incoming residents. AMMC was named as one of 16 in the state of Arkansas as a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures by The Joint Commission. AMMC is JC accredited as well as CAP accredited (laboratory). AMMC's Home Health Agency was named a 2014 Guardian of Excellence Award winner by Press Ganey Associates, Inc.-for consistently achieving the 95th percentile of performance in Patient Experience in Home Health. Our medical center is blessed with very talented and very committed physicians. Our "family atmosphere" is a major trait that draws physicians to AMMC. We treat our patients like neighbors, not like charts or bar codes, while providing nationally recognized healthcare.
